Requirements
- Five or more years of experience in software development.
- Excellent understanding and knowledge of object-oriented programming.
- Proven track record of designing, developing, and implementing client/server applications using C# and databases.
- Experience taking projects through the entire software development cycle from requirements gathering to production release.
- Experience collaborating closely with core development/engineering teams to provide data and services to the business.
- Clear understanding of architectural concepts and the fundamentals of good software design.
- Solid grasp of design patterns and principles, particularly as they apply to object-oriented design.
- Experience with software testing strategies and approaches.
- Broad experience across various languages, technologies, and platforms and ability to adapt.
- Demonstrated skills in diagnosing and solving technical and business problems.
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain applications that automate post-trade processes and process and store trading-related activity across APAC.
- Design, develop, and implement client/server applications using C# and databases.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders (trading, operations, compliance) and core development teams to deliver strategic projects.
- Ensure systems comply with financial, regulatory, and accounting requirements across APAC locations.
