Requirements
- Must have experience coding in x++, ideally in AX Sales, Marketing, Production BOM, Orders, Inventory (any of these would be great the more the better)
- Must be able to investigate existing code and be able to reverse engineer it
- Must have very strong documentation skills and the willingness to help train/report findings to the current full time dev staff
- Will be taking an existing Application from a 3rd party and learning how it works in 60 days and then taking over from there and finishing it, documenting and turning it back over the enterprise apps team
- Must have .Net C# skills, strong SQL database experience and ETL skills
- Must have AX r2 or R3 experience x++
- Location: Kentucky
- Duration: 6+ Months
- Need GC and USC
- Two developers required as part of the team
- The first is a ecommerce applications, they also have TPI & TPSI that they have no clue what the code does
Responsibilities
- Reverse engineer and document the functionality of multiple enterprise applications inside AX and systems written in .Net that integrate with the ERP.
- Learn how the existing third-party application operates within 60 days and assume ownership thereafter, finishing the integration and delivering comprehensive documentation to the enterprise applications team.
- Document code and system behavior thoroughly and share findings with the current full-time development staff; assist in training others.
- Collaborate with a two-developer team to understand and analyze the ecommerce applications and other components such as TPI and TPSI to determine their purpose and code flow.
