Requirements
- Minimum 5 years post-graduate professional experience in architecture
- Demonstrated experience delivering competition and early-stage design projects
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
- Strong conceptual and technical design skills, with the ability to produce design options both independently and collaboratively
- Strong conceptual and spatial design ability
- Advanced proficiency in Rhino, Revit, Enscape and Adobe
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly through drawing, 3D modelling and verbal presentation
- Strong understanding of Australian planning frameworks and statutory processes
- Experience integrating environmental and sustainability strategies into early design phases
Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to competition entries, feasibility studies, and early design development, translating strategic project ambitions into sustainable and impactful architectural outcomes
- Shape and communicate clear design narratives at the front end of projects while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams across Henning Larsen’s global network
- Be an integral member of the Sydney team delivering innovative and high quality design solutions to clients with the support of a team of international experts
- Support business critical proposals and marketing efforts
- Collaborate with a local team of professionals and a global network to deliver projects of various scales and typologies such as cultural projects, universities, masterplans and headquarters
Desired Qualifications
- Proven experience in technical development and delivery of projects will be seen as an added advantage
