Your Impact

As the Accounts Payable Specialist, you will report to the Accounts Payable Team Lead  and work closely with the rest of the AP & Finance team, making your mark in a number of ways:

• Be accountable for end-to-end AP functions for our Australian businesses.

• Ensuring the accounts payable function runs efficiently by providing first line support to internal and external stakeholders.

• Supporting the Australian AP & Finance team including month-end/year-end closing and other ad-hoc assignments as required.

• Be instrumental in helping AirTrunk define leading practice.

What You’ll Do

• End-to-end Accounts Payable functions for our Australian businesses.

• Working alongside other Accounts Payable team members to process the group’s invoices.

• Supporting the company CAPEX processes.

• Managing the weekly payment run processes for accounts payable and employee expenses, ensuring payments are cleared promptly.

• Responsible for handling vendor maintenance and payment enquiries.

• Assist in compliance with all indirect tax obligations (GST, FBT, Payroll Tax).

• Assist in the improvement of finance processes and controls, including the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
• Other ad hoc projects and duties as required.

What You’ll Bring

• A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience.

• Ability to problem solve and multi-task.

• Strong attention to detail, highly organised, exceptional attitude.

• Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced AP role within a dynamic environment.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal and strong attention to detail.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
