What you will do

As senior finance and procurement analyst, you will guide budgets, reporting and purchasing.

You will:

• prepare budgets, track spending and provide clear advice on forecasts and financial risks
• manage financial transactions, check payroll costs and keep accurate records
• guide purchasing and tender processes, track contracts and help managers achieve value for money
• prepare financial reports, business case costings and funding submissions to support sound decisions
• maintain financial systems, improve procedures and provide timely records for audits.

About you

You need a tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, business, commerce or a related field.

You should also have:

• financial management experience, including budgets, forecasts, year-end reports and advice that helps managers solve problems
• skills in financial systems, such as Oracle and Axiom, plus Excel and Power BI for analysis and reporting
• procurement and contract management experience, with knowledge of government financial rules, accounting standards and purchasing requirements
• clear communication, attention to detail and the ability to work with others, meet deadlines and improve processes.
