    Key Responsibilities

     

    • Prepare financial statements in line with accounting, regulatory and reporting standards across a range of privately owned and multi-entity group structures.
    • Prepare income tax returns for companies, trusts, individuals and broader family groups.
    • Manage core compliance obligations including BAS, GST, FBT, payroll tax and year-end tax planning.
    • Support tax planning initiatives and assist with technical matters such as group structuring, Division 7A, trust distributions, CGT and ATO reviews.
    • Deliver business and tax advisory services, including cash flow and profitability analysis, performance improvement, restructuring and growth advisory.
    • Assist with management reporting, forecasting and KPI tracking, supporting vCFO-style engagements.
    • Build strong relationships within the Business Services team and develop trusted client relationships through consistent, high-quality service.

     

    Qualifications, Experience and Skills

     

    • Experience within a professional services or public practice environment is essential.
    • Experience working with companies, trusts and multi-entity group structures.
    • Strong interest in taxation, advisory and working with privately owned businesses.
    • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capability, with strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage workstreams with ownership and a proactive, client-focused approach.
    • Exposure to direct client interaction and building relationships.
    • Currently completing or have completed the CA or CPA qualification.
    • Experience with Xero and related systems is desirable.
