    About the role:

    In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing client engagements, reviewing financial reports, tax returns, and offering practical, value-driven insights that help clients navigate their financial decisions. You will also be a key part of a collaborative team, helping manage workflows and contributing to the professional development of those around you.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage team workflows to ensure high-quality, timely client deliverables.
    • Review financial statements and work papers, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and accounting standards.
    • Provide practical and commercial advice to clients, delivering solutions that add genuine value to their business.
    • Review income tax returns for individuals, companies, superannuation funds, partnerships, and trusts, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
    • Develop financial models to support client decision-making and strategic initiatives.
    • Identify risks and opportunities within clients’ industries, offering proactive solutions.
    • Mentor and develop junior staff, providing guidance and fostering professional growth within the team.
    • Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
    • Share knowledge and best practices across the team to elevate overall performance and expertise.
    • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of information into the firm’s systems
    • Contribute to the continuous professional development of yourself and the team.

     

     

    About you:

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Degree in Business or Commerce with a major in Accounting
    • CA qualification (or equivalent)
    • 5-7 years’ experience in professional services, with prior experience in managing a team
    • Proven ability to provide high-quality advisory services to clients and manage client relationships
