Requirements
- Strong programming skills across a variety of languages and technologies, including Java or Kotlin, NodeJS, TypeScript, React (modern), and Spring Boot.
- Experience in AI coding – such as Cursor (Claude agent), Codex or Copilot being highly valued.
- Practical experience working with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, containerisation using Docker, and CI/CD tooling such as Buildkite
- Strong understanding of programming fundamentals and concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative and Agile environment, with a proven capacity to quickly adapt to changing business needs.
- Strong dedication to delivering high-quality software to customers on a regular basis.
- Ability to empower the team to define, refine, and incrementally achieve a technical vision, while consistently delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Be the voice of the team ensuring knowledge flows both from development teams to the broader MYOB tech community and vice versa.
Responsibilities
- As a Developer joining the team, you will be working alongside other developers, product manager and UX designers, to add and improve capabilities to our financial services products and systems.
- Collaborate with your peers to drive continuous improvement in our development and DevOps practices, enhancing customer experiences and gaining hands-on experience with a wide range of technologies.
- This diverse exposure will set you up for future success by equipping you with versatile skills and a broad technical knowledge base.
