What you will do

• Own the treasury accounting process, including month-end close, reporting and audit activities.
• Deliver accurate and timely month-end, half-year and year-end financial reporting across consolidated and standalone accounts.
• Prepare statutory accounts and support the annual external audit process.
• Manage the lease register and related accounting processes.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring strong financial controls and accuracy.
• Provide technical accounting guidance to business stakeholders.
• Support monthly consolidated Group results and financial reporting.
• Support due diligence and integration activity for acquisitions, disposals and business closures.
• Identify and deliver process improvement initiatives across financial reporting, systems and controls.
• Contribute to broader Finance projects and initiatives as required.

What you will bring

We’re looking for a technically strong accountant who is proactive, curious and comfortable taking ownership.

You will bring:

• Degree qualified in Commerce or Accounting and CA qualified.
• Previous experience within a Big 4 accounting firm.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting capability.
• Experience with treasury accounting, leases and financial close processes.
• SAP and BPC experience is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to see the bigger picture.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders across Finance and the wider business.
• A proactive, autonomous approach with strong time management and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience working with offshore accounting teams is advantageous.
• A continuous improvement mindset and a genuine desire to find better ways of working.
