JOB  SUMMARY

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, develop, and maintain features across our lending platform.
• Build scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using TypeScript, Node.js, and Express.js.
• Develop modern, responsive web applications using React and Next.js.
• Design and maintain database solutions using MongoDB.
• Work with AWS cloud infrastructure to build secure, reliable, and scalable applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and continuously improve the customer experience.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.
• Continuously improve development practices, system performance, and platform architecture.

What We’re Looking For

Essential

• Commercial experience developing modern web applications.
• Strong experience with TypeScript.
• Experience building backend applications using Node.js and Express.js.
• Experience developing frontend applications using React and Next.js.
• Experience working with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and modern software architecture.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Desirable

• Experience working with AWS cloud services.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience writing automated tests.
• Understanding of application security and software engineering best practices.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• A qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
