JOB SUMMARY
Key responsibilities include:
Processing payroll accurately and on time in partnership with our outsourced payroll provider
Managing employee lifecycle transactions including new starters, changes and terminations
Maintaining payroll records, master data and payroll documentation
Reconciling payroll data across systems and supporting payroll-related payments
Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, awards, policies and audit requirements
Providing payroll support and reporting to People & Culture, Finance and other stakeholders
Managing payroll queries and delivering a high level of customer service
Contributing to payroll projects, process improvements and self-service initiatives
Supporting month-end activities, annual payroll processes and ad hoc reporting requirements

You are a detail-oriented payroll professional who takes pride in delivering accurate outcomes and exceptional service. You enjoy working collaboratively, can manage competing priorities, and have a proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
Experience managing end-to-end payroll processing within Australia
Experience working with time and attendance systems
Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, compliance requirements and award interpretation
A customer-first approach with excellent communication skills
Strong numerical and analytical skills, including advanced Excel capability
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage high-volume workloads
A resilient, positive and solutions-focused mindset
The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
