Requirements
- Full-stack development experience across frontend and backend systems.
- Proficiency with API platforms, including API proxies, shared flows, policies, and security measures.
- Experience with Azure cloud.
- Proficiency with DevOps methodologies, continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
- Experience with at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, Node.js, or Go.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement new features and capabilities for the API Platform to improve functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Act as the subject matter expert for the API Platform, providing guidance on complex API challenges and contributing to technical design and build decisions.
- Partner with internal development teams to onboard and migrate APIs to Apigee, offering technical mentorship and hands-on support.
- Support the operational health, security, scalability, and performance of the API Platform, including monitoring, incident management, and infrastructure optimisation across cloud environments.
- Drive improvements in DevOps, automation, API governance, and developer experience through continuous integration and continuous delivery, infrastructure as code, automated testing, platform standards, documentation, and enhancements to the Developer Portal.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Azure API Management would be beneficial.
