Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
Responsibilities
- Optimize the funnel and run experiments to launch improvements, and reduce friction.
- Lead the product development for differentiating, high-impact features.
- Partner with other Google teams to ensure seamless delivery.
- Identify emerging opportunities, synthesize market trends, and define the long-term strategic goal for the future of in-car generative AI.
- In this role, you will be partnering directly with DeepMind and several other Geo teams.
- You will build the future of in-car generative AI experiences.
- Join the Gemini in the Navigation team to build the most trusted conversational experience for every journey, integrating geospatial intelligence with the latest Gemini models.
- We are revolutionizing Google Maps navigation, empowering users with complete control through a Gemini-powered experience.
- Our team is at the forefront of in-car generative AI, managing complex routing issues and unlocking Gemini’s potential for tasks such as trip planning.
- The Geo team is focused on building the most accurate, comprehensive, and useful maps for our users, through products like Maps, Earth, Street View, Google Maps Platform, and more.
- The Geo team also enables developers to use the power of Google Maps platforms to enhance their apps and websites.
- As they plot a course for the future of mapping, they are solving complex computer science problems, designing beautiful and intuitive product experiences, and improving our understanding of the real world.
Desired Qualifications
- 8 years of experience in product management.
- Experience in building end-to-end generative AI solutions, encompassing user experience design, data architecture, and quality evaluation.
- Experience in building consumer experiences.
