JOB   DETAILS

The Systems Analyst works closely with both the IT team and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality IT services through effective requirements gathering, best-practice solution design, and solution development.

The Systems Analyst will act as the primary point of contact for applications level 1-3 hands-on support and new solutions design and build for SAP, P3 warehouse management system and IDSnet. The hands-on role involves identifying the root causes for problems, understanding new functional requirements, and providing solutions to end users.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

The role is responsible for supporting the delivery of IT services to internal and external stakeholders including and not limited to the following: –

Solutions Design & Development

• Engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for SAP Business One, P3, Qlik, IDSnet, and other business applications.
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and solution documentation.
• Perform hands-on development and configuration for SAP Business One, P3, and Qlik.
• Create detailed system design documents and architecture diagrams.
• Collaborate with software developers, network engineers, and other IT professionals to design implement systems.

Applications Support

• First point of contact for SAP Business One, P3 warehouse management system, Qlik, IDSnet and other business applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues affecting business applications using standard operating procedures, prioritising based on business impact and urgency.
• Liaise with and support vendors in resolving escalated incidents.
• Proactively identify repeated incidents and initiate problem management activities.
• Create and update knowledge base articles and continuously update standard operating procedures.
• Escalate unresolved incidents and follow through for timely resolution.
• Assist in training of business users.

Projects Support & Continuous Improvements

• Assist IT team in the planning and delivery of IT projects for SAP, P3, IDSnet and other business application.
• Evaluate and recommend alternative processes, solutions, and technologies to improve system performance and solution quality.
• Evaluate user needs, define technical problems and work with vendors and internal teams to determine appropriate solutions.
• Test, evaluate and make recommendations for new technology rollout.
