Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline is preferred; equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered.
- Demonstrated success in technical sales within the mineral processing equipment sector, with a strong understanding of crushing equipment.
- Proven experience in aftermarket sales, specifically focused on crusher wear liner products.
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce for managing sales pipelines and customer interactions.
- Ability to meet performance objectives through strategic customer engagement and product knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and aftermarket support, ensuring responsiveness and technical guidance across the Comminution product range.
- Identify and propose product trial opportunities backed by commercially sound business cases aimed at improving customer Total Ownership Costs (TOC).
- Monitor and report TOC performance regularly, highlighting measurable improvements and cost savings achieved through Weir (ESCO) Wear Liners.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets by executing technically and commercially aligned quotes and tenders and managing opportunities via CRM/Salesforce.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development, go-to-market planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
