    Requirements
    • A degree in Actuarial Studies or a related discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics or Engineering
    • At least 2 years’ experience in the insurance industry, with exposure to pricing, underwriting or portfolio analysis highly regarded
    • Experience working in a multi-layered management environment will be viewed favourably
    • Strong analytical capability, with the ability to apply statistical and actuarial techniques to identify trends, uncover opportunities, solve problems and interpret complex information with confidence
    • Advanced pricing modelling skills
    • Well-developed technical skills, including proficiency in Excel, Python, R, SAS and general programming, with additional technical capabilities considered an advantage
    Responsibilities
    • Partner with portfolio managers to provide pricing recommendations that deliver target return on equity, including guidance on average pricing, pricing structures, segment relativities and rating methodology
    • Champion innovation and continuous improvement, bringing fresh thinking to pricing approaches while role modelling Zurich Basics values in the way you work and collaborate
    • Operate with strong risk and governance discipline by adhering to all regulatory, industry and company requirements, and following the processes used to record, monitor and report breaches in line with the Zurich Risk Policy Manual
    Desired Qualifications
    • Experience in Personal Lines pricing, particularly Householders is desirable
