Our client HUB iis looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to develop the core server-side systems of their fintech platform in Australia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in backend engineering and a strong foundation in cloud platforms.
This role involves designing scalable systems and APIs while mentoring junior engineers. Offering a competitive salary starting from $12,000 per month, joining this team means contributing to impactful financial solutions.
Qualifications
- 5–10+ years of backend or software engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of system design and distributed systems.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language (Java, Python, Node.js, Go).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Strong SQL and database design skills.
Responsibilities
- Design scalable backend systems and microservices.
- Develop and maintain RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Implement authentication and authorization (OAuth, JWT).
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
