What You’ll Be Doing

• Preparing accurate monthly and annual financial reports and helping management understand the results behind the numbers.
• Reviewing income, expenses, and branch performance to highlight cost trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Managing general ledger entries, reconciliations, and maintaining fixed asset and depreciation schedules.
• Assisting with budgets, forecasts, and cashflow analysis to ensure our fleet and branch operations stay on track.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and government reporting requirements (BAS, PAYG, super, etc.).
• Working with our banks, auditors, and financiers to support fleet funding, audit reviews, and year-end reporting.
• Supporting continuous improvement of accounting systems and helping introduce better tools for automation and reporting.
• Providing financial advice to management on fleet purchases, sales, and operational cost control.

What We’re Looking For

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• At least 2–3 years’ experience in an accounting role (commercial or management accounting experience preferred).
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills; confident with MYOB Exo or similar software.
• A good understanding of accounting standards, budgeting, and taxation.
• Excellent attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to work independently.
• CPA or CA qualification (or working towards it) is a bonus.
• Previous experience in the car rental, transport, or logistics sector is highly valued
