    Requirements
    • Ideally someone with work experience in insurance, construction, risk, or a related professional services role — internships or work placements are valuable.
    • Strong attention to detail and good written and verbal communication skills.
    • Commercial mindset with the ability to learn technical insurance language quickly.
    • Proactive, client-focused and able to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and willing to learn Marsh systems (CRM, quoting tools).
    • Applications will only be considered from candidates who have the appropriate approval to work in Australia.
    • Successful applicants will be required to complete a Criminal & Bankruptcy check prior to commencing of employment.
    Responsibilities
    • Support senior brokers in preparing client proposals, insurance programs and tender submissions for construction projects.
    • Assist with policy placement, renewals and endorsements across contract works, liability, plant & equipment, and professional indemnity where applicable.
    • Prepare and maintain client documentation, coverage summaries and risk presentations.
    • Liaise with clients, underwriters and internal teams to gather information and resolve queries.
    • Assist with claims notifications and support claims management activities.
    • Conduct market research, identify suitable insurers and maintain insurer relationships.
    • Help develop and maintain accurate data in CRM (MPower) and other systems.
    • Participate in client meetings and site visits as required.
    • Support the BRIC team with the domestic building insurance portfolio
    Desired Qualifications
    • Proven client service excellence with a focus on delivering technical, strategic, and consultative support.
    • Strong adaptability to change, with an understanding of environmental, financial, and regulatory factors affecting clients.
    • Exceptional communication skills for effective engagement with stakeholders.
    • Exposure to construction contracts, project documentation or on-site experience.
    • Knowledge of contract works (CAR/EAR), public/product liability, and construction-specific risks.
    • Motivated to pursue industry accreditation (e.g., ANZIIF) — Marsh supports professional development.
