    We are looking for an Accountant to join our team in Sydney. This role will be involved in providing professional accounting services to a diverse range of clients, from family owned businesses to significant global entities. The role will give you exposure to numerous clients across a broad range of industries.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Prepare a range of financial statements in accordance with regulatory, accounting and financial reporting standards;
    • Prepare clear and concise work papers;
    • Supervise junior staff on certain jobs, as appropriate;
    • Prepare income tax and FBT returns, and identify noncompliance issues arising from them;
    • Perform tax planning for clients;
    • Prepare tax returns for all entities;
    • Prepare Business Activity Statements;
    • Quarterly and annual tax compliance matters;
    • Preparation of management accounts;
    • Prepare advice for clients in relation to business operations and regulatory matters;
    • General business administration.
    About You
    • CA or CPA Qualification or partly completed;
    • 1 to 2 years of Business Services or Tax experience (ideally from a mid‑tier sized firm);
    • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills;
    • Demonstrated analytical/problem solving ability;
    • Ability to multitask and effectively manage individual and team workflow;
    • Self‑motivated; takes responsibility for personal and professional development;
    • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work;
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word/Excel/Outlook;
    • Xero (desired)
