Key Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable and receivable activities, including processing supplier payments, resolving supplier queries and following up outstanding debtor balances where required.
• Support high volume transactional finance activities while maintaining exceptional accuracy and meeting deadlines.
• Perform month end close activities including journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Complete intercompany reconciliations and support multi entity accounting.
• Assist with BAS, GST and other compliance activities.
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports and management information.
• Maintain accurate financial records and support fixed asset accounting.
• Investigate discrepancies and ensure exceptional accuracy across financial transactions.
• Assist with the implementation of improved finance systems, controls and reporting processes.
• Provide support across the broader finance function as required within a collaborative team environment.

We’re looking for someone who offers:

• Accounting degree qualification.
• Approximately two or more years’ accounting experience.
• Experience with accounts payable and/or receivable together with month end processes, reconciliations and journals.
• Comfortable working within a high volume transactional environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
• Understanding of BAS, GST and general accounting compliance.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, ideally including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
• Excellent attention to detail and a genuine pride in producing accurate work.
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn and openness to constructive feedback.
• Confidence working within an evolving environment where systems and processes continue to improve.

Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics Business Central will be highly regarded but is not essential.
