Our client is seeking an Accountant in Brisbane, Australia, to support the Finance Manager with accounting tasks and financial reporting. You’ll ensure compliance with legal obligations and handle financial transactions efficiently.
The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, be degree qualified, and possess strong Microsoft skills. Responsibilities include financial reconciliation, report preparation, and process improvement.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Understanding of basic Australian Accounting Standards.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
Responsibilities
- Perform monthly balance sheet and profit & loss reconciliations.
- Preparation and analysis of financial reports including budgets and forecasts.
- Improve processes for business practice efficiency.
