Role Description

The Accounts Payable Officer will liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to respond to queries, support month-end and year-end close processes, and assist with reporting as required.

This role contributes to the smooth financial operations of Crawford Doran and supports the wider team with reliable, detail-focused administrative and accounting support.

This position is responsible for processing supplier invoices, verifying accuracy, obtaining approvals, and ensuring timely payment of accounts.

Responsibilities include reconciling creditor statements, resolving invoice and payment discrepancies, and maintaining up-to-date accounts payable records.

The Accounts Payable Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in North Adelaide, SA.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in accounting, finance, or business (certificate, diploma, or degree) is preferred
• Strong finance and accounting skills, with experience in accounts payable processes and general ledger reconciliation

You’ll Bring

• Proficiency in invoice processing, including data entry, verification of supporting documentation, and timely payment scheduling
• Effective communication and customer service skills to collaborate with colleagues and handle supplier queries professionally
• Experience using accounting or ERP software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or similar) and solid MS Excel skills for reporting and analysis
• High attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Prior experience in real estate or property-related industries highly regarded but is not essential
