    JOB   SUMMARY

    Requirements
    • Qualifications in Electrical Power Engineering.
    • Experience designing and applying power infrastructure solutions, particularly busway, in mission-critical environments.
    • Knowledge of busway and accessories.
    • Knowledge of tender submission processes and business acumen.
    • Understanding of the data centre industry and its architectures.
    • Technical understanding and application knowledge of supported products.
    • Competency in reading technical drawings and design specifications.
    • Knowledge of Australian and international standards frameworks and industry codes, including AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3008, AS/NZS 3011, AS/NZS 2676.2, and AS/NZS 61439-1/6.
    • Market knowledge of power products and their applications.
    • Experience with tender submission processes, including product costing, schedule completion, and compliance statements.
    • Technical understanding and knowledge of power infrastructure products and concepts.
    • Proficiency in technical writing.
    • English writing and presentation skills.
    • Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
    • AutoCAD drawing skills.
    • Prioritisation, interpersonal, leadership, workload management, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
    Responsibilities
    • Provide sales staff with technical assistance and support information on busway and other power solutions.
    • Review sales-submitted request-for-quotation documentation, including technical specifications, electrical wiring schematics, and floorplan layout drawings.
    • Prepare sales quotations, including formal offers with compliance statements, single-line drawings, costing schedules, and bills of materials.
    • Source quotations from third-party products and service providers in support of offers.
    • Reconcile purchase orders on successfully won jobs and enter orders according to company process.
    • Complete profitability analysis for costing offers as directed by the Power Solutions Manager or Associate Director.
    • Manage product delivery and design for non-established products.
    • Undertake product training and provide solution presentations as directed by management.
    • Adhere to PSA procedures and practices.
    • Complete work in a timely manner.
    • Develop or enhance pre-sales processes to improve overall efficiency as part of the VOS initiative.
    • Provide feedback from lessons learned in won or lost bids and project reviews to improve future solution designs.
    • Comply with work health and safety, environmental, and quality obligations.
    • Promote workplace safety.
