What you’ll be doing

• Supporting senior brokers with client consultations and finance application preparation
• Gathering and organising client financial documentation and information required for loan applications
• Liaising with lenders, clients and third-party service providers to progress finance applications

• Assisting with administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, managing client files and maintaining records

• Updating clients on application progress and responding to routine enquiries
• Supporting the preparation of loan proposals and documentation
• Providing follow up and ongoing support to existing clients

What we’re looking for

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
• Organisational and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other standard office software
• Willingness to develop knowledge of Australian mortgage products and lending practices
• Capacity to understand financial services compliance and responsible lending obligations
• Customer service orientation with a genuine desire to help clients achieve their financial goals
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Previous experience in broking, finance or customer service is desirable
