Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience managing projects in capital project environments, with strong reporting, planning, and contractor supervision skills.
- Working knowledge of Primavera, Microsoft Project, or similar project management tools.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
- Strong focus on work planning and job safety.
- Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a Defence security clearance.
- Pre-employment police check and role-dependent medical checks may be required.
Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, applying structured project management methodologies to deliver outcomes on time and within scope.
- Drive the development of project approvals and lead the planning and coordination of project and program schedules.
- Partner with stakeholders to develop clear project scopes and work breakdown structures.
- Support effective risk management practices to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
- Develop and maintain Project Management Plans to support strong project governance and execution.
- Manage tendering and contract processes, including preparing specifications, assessing submissions, and supporting project implementation and commissioning.
- Contribute to practical engineering solutions that improve plant and process performance.
- Deliver high-quality month-end reporting, track actions, and ensure follow-through on key project deliverables.
Desired Qualifications
- Qualifications in Project Management or Asset Management are desirable.
- IPMA accreditation will be highly regarded.
