    Key Responsibilities

    As the Management Accountant – Strategy & Business Development, you will support commercial decision making and provide accounting support for the various business units within Riverside Marine Group.

    Your Responsibilities Will Include

    • Performing commercial analysis and management accounting activities to support business performance.
    • Building and maintaining financial models, pricing analyses and business cases.
    • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and management reporting processes.
    • Investigating business and financial performance variances to provide practical commercial insights.
    • Conducting market research for business growth opportunities and competitive analysis.
    • Assist in coordinating tender submissions, schedules, supporting documentation and action registers.
    • Supporting contract administration and ensuring contractual obligations are met.
    • Working collaboratively across operational, finance and commercial teams to drive business performance and decision-making.
    • Support business development team in attending network events and existing stakeholder meetings.

    Mandatory Qualifications And Experience

    To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong commercial mindset coupled with excellent analytical and communication skills.

    You Will Ideally Have

    • A Commerce or Business degree with a Finance or Accounting major.
    • CPA or CA qualification (or working towards completion) preferred but not essential.
    • Experience in management accounting, business analyst or commercial support roles.
    • Strong financial modelling and data analysis capabilities.
    • Demonstrated commercial acumen and experience with pricing analysis.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to strict deadlines.
    • Advanced organisational and time-management skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.
    • Experience with ERP systems; experience with Pronto will be highly regarded.
    • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment while contributing effectively within a team.
