The Role

This 2-year fixed term Compliance Officer (AML) role offers a great opportunity to support an exciting business project while building strong, practical experience in AML and financial crime. Working as part of Pepper Money’s Compliance team, you’ll contribute to day-to-day AML activities and provide hands-on support as the business continues to evolve and adapt through change.

In This Role, You Will

• Complete daily AML and financial crime activities, including transaction monitoring and watchlist reviews.
• Investigate and support the management of AML, sanctions, PEP and financial crime escalations.
• Assist with customer due diligence, ongoing monitoring and regulatory reporting.
• Support compliance monitoring activities, audits and project-related work.
• Provide clear, practical compliance support to stakeholders across the business.

About You

You’re an early to mid-career compliance professional who enjoys detail-driven work and being part of a collaborative team. You’re comfortable working within established frameworks, keen to learn, and motivated by contributing to meaningful outcomes in a changing environment.

You’ll Bring

• Experience in AML, compliance or financial crime within financial services or a regulated environment.
• A working understanding of AML/CTF obligations and regulatory requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage routine tasks alongside project work.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive, team-oriented approach and willingness to learn.
• A relevant qualification in financial services, compliance, risk or a related field.
