As a Data Analytics Manager within our client HUB, you will apply advanced data, analytical and reporting capabilities to identify patterns, anomalies and emerging financial crime threats across the Westpac Group. You will extract, validate, transform and analyse data from multiple sources to produce intelligence-led insights, identify typologies and support strategic and operational responses to financial crime risk.

You will also develop and improve analytics techniques, dashboards and data products that strengthen FCI’s monitoring capability and provide clear, decision-useful insights to support risk management and intelligence priorities.

What do I need?

• Strong experience in data analytics, intelligence analysis, or data science.
• Advanced capability in SQL and Python (essential), or SAS (desirable) for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Experience working with large, complex datasets and analytical tools
• Proficient in MS Office and data visualisation tools (incl. AI-enabled capabilities)
• Ability to deliver dashboards, insights, and analysis to support decision-making and risk outcomes
• Must be an Australian citizen and willing to obtain Baseline security clearance due to the nature of the role
