    About the role

    This is a hands-on, site-based role working across instrumentation, control systems and functional safety. You’ll collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to solve complex problems and drive continuous improvement in a high-performing plant environment.

    What you will be doing

    Support, optimisation and modernisation of control and shutdown systems (DCS/SIS) and plant instrumentation;
    Investigate and resolve complex reliability and system issues;
    Partner with maintenance and operations to improve plant performance;
    Drive alarm management, system improvements and reliability initiatives;
    Contribute to safety outcomes through investigations, hazard reviews, and management of the site’s Instrumented Functional Safety Management System;
    Support projects, system upgrades, contractor coordination, and develop toward becoming the site Responsible Engineer for Instrumented Functional Safety.
    What you will bring

    Minimum 5 years of Industrial Experience
    An enthusiastic mindset, with ability to work collaboratively across different teams on site, with a practical, hands-on problem-solving approach;
    Engineering or Trade background (e.g. electrical, mechatronics, software and chemical engineers, or Cert 3 or 4 Instrument/Electrical trade or programming).
    Experience with industrial control and/or safety systems (DCS/PLC/SCADA/SIS) and/or safety systems;
