Our client Work Space is seeking an energetic Graduate Accountant to join its Corporate Services Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a broad range of accounting functions that support the council’s financial operations. You will work closely with the Finance Team and report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.
Your key responsibilities include accurate management of financial, expenditure, and revenue accounting, including rates and water. The role also involves asset accounting and ensuring timely pay runs in line with service standards.

Graduate Accountant
We are looking for an energetic Graduate Accountant to join the Corporate Services Department of Forbes Shire Council. The successful candidate will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and be responsible for delivering a broad range of accounting functions to support the council’s financial operations and the community.
Key Responsibilities: Provide accurate financial accounting, management accounting, expenditure accounting, revenue accounting (including rates and water), asset accounting and weekly pay runs in line with service level standards across all service levels for Forbes Shire Council.
The role requires working independently while collaborating closely with the Finance Team to achieve timely and appropriate outcomes.
