About The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will deliver financial insights, reporting and analysis that support strategic decision-making and the ongoing success of the Club.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support the day-to-day financial operations of the Club, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end reporting, including reconciliations, journals and financial reporting requirements.
• Prepare and analyse monthly management reports, including variance analysis and commentary to support business performance.
• Assist with the preparation of annual budgets, forecast reporting.
• Monitor departmental budgets and provide recommendations to support effective financial management.
• Identify and implement process improvements that enhance financial reporting, controls and operational efficiency.
• Assist with financial analysis and ad hoc projects to support strategic and operational decision-making.

About You

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
• Degree qualification in Accounting or Finance.
• CA or CPA qualification, or be actively working towards completion.
• Sound knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations and general accounting principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using accounting software – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience highly regarded.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
• The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and quality.
• A proactive and team-oriented approach to work.
