JOB  DETAILS

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Support security posture uplift across cyber risk, data protection, governance and control improvement activities
• Track cybersecurity remediation items, vendor actions, risk items and assurance findings through to completion
• Assist with third-party security assessments, including reviewing vendor responses, evidence, certifications and risk gaps
• Support AI governance activities, including use case assessments, registers, templates and practical guidance material
• Help maintain security, IT risk, audit, control and governance documentation
• Prepare clear reporting, meeting notes, action trackers and stakeholder updates for management and governance forums

We are looking for someone with:

• 2 – 5 years’ experience across cyber security, IT governance, technology risk, audit, assurance or a related area
• Industry domain experience in superannuation or other financial services / Big-4 consulting is well-regarded
• Strong cyber fundamentals and genuine curiosity about why security matters to a business
• Exposure to third-party risk, vendor assurance, security questionnaires or control evidence would be highly regarded
• Interest and curiosity in AI governance, data protection, DLP, Microsoft 365 security, Purview or related security concepts
• Strong communication skills – this is a stakeholder-facing role that gives great exposure to the business units and partners
