Requirements
- Six to eight years of experience in server-side or back-end software testing, with strong proficiency in Unix/Linux command-line environments.
- Ability to plan and execute complex test strategies independently, from environment setup through completion.
- Experience with defect tracking and automation tools in an agile or continuous delivery environment.
- Full working rights in Australia, specifically Australian citizenship or permanent residency status.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and execute end-to-end test strategies that ensure software meets defined quality standards and client requirements.
- Analyze system requirements and business processes to identify testing scope, risks, and mitigation approaches.
- Drive defect resolution by performing root cause analysis, raising issues, and tracking them through completion.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing frameworks, documentation, and release engineering processes.
- Collaborate with global teams to support integration, regression, and system testing across product releases.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience testing applications hosted in cloud environments.
- Background in compliance, surveillance, or regulated financial services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, methodical approach.
- Ability to communicate clearly, present testing strategies, and challenge ambiguous requirements confidently.
