    JOB   DETAILS

    About the role

As a Sales Engineer atour client HUB , you’ll help enterprise merchants and integration partners turn signed opportunities into successful, live integrations. You’ll own the technical workstream from integration approach through to validated go-live, working directly with customer engineering teams to keep things moving. Most of your work will be post-sale, with selective involvement in late-stage opportunities where technical expertise can help shape the right solution. Your focus is on removing technical friction and helping customers reach their first successful transaction faster.

    What you’ll do

    • Own Integrations: Lead the technical workstream for enterprise merchant and partner integrations from initial design through to validated go-live.
    • Shape the Solution: Understand customer requirements and design practical, scalable and secure integration approaches that work with the Tyro platform.
    • Accelerate Time to Value: Drive towards a fast first successful transaction, identifying blockers and keeping technical delivery moving.
    • Get Hands-On: Work directly with customer engineering teams to troubleshoot payment flows, APIs, auth and capture, webhooks, reconciliation and non-standard implementations.
    • Drive Delivery: Manage technical milestones, dependencies and risks alongside Enterprise Onboarding & Implementation, staying engaged through go-live and handover.
    • Make Integration Easier: Build reusable guides and reference implementations, and feed recurring gaps in APIs, tooling and developer experience back to Product and Engineering.
    • Support Key Deals: Provide technical expertise on selected late-stage opportunities and RFPs where integration feasibility or solution design is important.

    What you’ll bring

    • Technical Capability: Strong experience across APIs, backend systems and integration patterns, with the confidence to read code and troubleshoot technical issues.
    • Integration Experience: Experience delivering customer or partner integrations, implementations, technical onboarding or similar technical delivery.
    • Delivery Ownership: You take responsibility for getting integrations live, proactively identifying blockers and maintaining momentum.
    • Customer Skills: You’re comfortable working directly with customer engineering teams and can explain technical concepts clearly to different audiences.
    • Problem-Solving: You can diagnose issues across connected systems and find practical solutions without over-engineering.
    • Commercial Awareness: You understand that successful technical delivery needs to balance customer needs, speed, technical quality and commercial outcomes.
    • Payments Experience: Experience with online, in-store or API-based payments is preferred, with backgrounds in fintech, SaaS, POS or eCommerce also highly relevant.

    What’s in it for you?
