Job Description:

As a Senior AI Engineer (Risk & Payments), you will build AI capabilities supporting payment systems and risk decisions within a global fintech platform’s Sydney engineering team.

Responsibilities:

* Build AI and machine learning capabilities supporting payment systems and risk decisioning.

* Develop models and tooling that improve risk detection and payment outcomes.

* Collaborate with risk, payments and engineering teams on AI-driven solutions.

* Maintain and improve AI systems for reliability, accuracy and production performance.

Qualifications Needed:

* Strong software engineering and machine learning experience.

* Experience applying AI to payments, risk or financial decisioning systems.

* Proficiency in relevant programming languages and ML frameworks.

* Understanding of production AI systems and model deployment.
