JOB SUMMARY
Requirements
- A natural curiosity and ability to understand complex problems and take a structured approach using data-driven insights to solve them.
- Previous experience using data-driven analytics or modelling to develop insights and recommendations, such as in actuarial, pricing, credit risk, or customer experience contexts.
- Strong coding experience in SQL and Python, including experience wrangling large datasets.
- Knowledge of visualisation best practices for complex data relationships, including Tableau, Power BI, rShiny, or Streamlit.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn new concepts or skills.
- Confident and capable communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Understanding of artificial intelligence, agentic coding, and machine learning tools and their application.
- A degree in a relevant discipline.
Responsibilities
- Leverage the Group’s extensive data assets to provide insights to senior leaders and group executives and enhance understanding of change and communications impacting Business Banking customers.
- Deliver quality analytics in a fast-paced, agile environment and conduct analysis on topics of interest to senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate on analytical projects that support the strategic objectives of the business.
- Develop and maintain ongoing capabilities, including self-service dashboards and tooling, to monitor and manage the insights portfolio.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively and persuasively, verbally and in writing, to Business Banking change leadership and product managers to influence how and when changes should occur.
Desired Qualifications
- A qualification in Actuarial Studies, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or Sciences is preferred.
- Experience in change management or customer communications is favourable but not required.
