The role
You own firms. That’s the centre of gravity. You take an accounting firm from the first conversation through to running their jobs and firm on Zato, and you stay with them as they grow on it. You sell, you demo, you onboard, you train, you manage the accountants you bring on. Naturally, that becomes sales and partner success, and that’s where most of your time starts.
But this is a new venture, not a fixed job description. The work bends to where the company needs you and where you’re strongest. Some weeks, that’s the product, shaping what we build. Some weeks it’s business development, opening a new channel. Or research and analysis, making sense of the market and our own data. Or marketing, sharpening how we tell the story. You’ll touch most of it, and over time, you find the one that’s yours and go deep.
You’ll know the product better than anyone in the room, and partners will trust you because you’ve done the work they do.
If you want a narrow lane and a fixed ladder, this isn’t it. If you want to see a whole company before you pick your specialism, it is.
