We’re working with one of Australia’s most recognised financial institutions on a Senior Java Engineer hire inside their Core team. These are the people building net-new products and offers for millions of customers, so the work has real weight behind it. This isn’t maintenance mode. It’s greenfield features, meaningful architecture decisions, and a team that actually ships.

You’ll be working across the full lifecycle from design through to production, on a platform that demands both scalability and low latency. The stack is Java and Spring Boot on AWS, and you’ll be moving across monolithic and microservice architecture depending on what the problem calls for.

What they’re looking for:

Six or more years of solid Java development. You know Spring Boot and Spring Hibernate well enough to make good calls under pressure. You’ve taken projects from inception to production, not just picked them up mid-flight, and you can hold your own in a room with senior stakeholders. Finance or banking background is a plus, but strong engineering instincts matter more.
