Requirements
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in .NET and C# building production-grade backend systems.
- Strong experience with SQL Server, including relational data modelling, query optimisation, and schema management.
- Strong fundamentals in designing and consuming Representational State Transfer APIs.
- A product engineering mindset focused on solving user and business problems.
- Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-moving, lean team where ownership and initiative are valued.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain robust backend services and APIs using .NET and C# that power Cashalo’s lending products.
- Take ownership of features end-to-end, from requirements through deployment, while working closely with product and business stakeholders.
- Contribute to platform reliability, observability, and deployment practices on Azure.
- Uplift the team through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and maintaining a high bar for quality.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in fintech or lending is a plus.
- Experience building on a public cloud platform such as Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform.
