Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong production experience in Python/Flask and/or TypeScript/React/Vue (Quasar)
- Solid system design skills — clean architecture, API design, data modelling (Postgres + CosmosDB)
- Hands-on expertise with automated testing across the stack (Playwright, Vitest, Jest, pytest)
- Real fluency with modern AI-augmented development workflows
- Strong Azure experience (or equivalent cloud depth + quick learner) — App Service, CosmosDB, Key Vault, Entra ID, Application Insights
- A security-first and observability mindset in multi-tenant environments
- Mentoring or technical leadership experience (formal or informal)
- Experience with agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, Mastra, Azure OpenAI, RAG, vector DBs, evals), monorepos (Nx), and trunk-based development. (Not a must)
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of non-trivial features end-to-end — from architecture to production
- Drive technical decisions and recommend clear, value-focused solutions
- Mentor and uplift junior developers through pairing, code review, and coaching
- Champion automated testing (unit, integration, E2E, accessibility, and AI evals)
- Use advanced AI tooling daily (agentic CLIs, IDE assistants, AI code review, AI-generated tests) and help improve team practices
- Own non-functional excellence: security, performance, observability, cost, and accessibility
- Ship confidently using feature flags, safe rollouts, and strong deployment practices
- Quickly become effective across both our Python and TypeScript stacks
