Requirements
- Expert-level knowledge and hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core, .NET 8, ASP.NET Core Web API, and Blazor.
- Hands-on experience with React or Angular.
- Hands-on experience with Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions, and Azure API Management.
- Hands-on experience with Azure SQL or SQL Server.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and SQL for extract, transform, and load processes.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions for continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Hands-on experience with OWASP, ISO 27001, identity and access management, and encryption.
- Hands-on experience with REST and event-driven API development, Postman, and Apigee.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to development teams.
- Experience contributing to roadmap strategy and aligning technology initiatives with business objectives and long-term goals.
- Experience working in global teams across the United States, India, the United Kingdom, and Australia.
Responsibilities
- Take hands-on ownership of medium- to high-complexity features and services in collaboration with product, platform, infrastructure, and security teams.
- Design, code, test, integrate, deploy, and support working software components.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices supporting retail operations.
- Integrate with point-of-sale systems, payment gateways, inventory systems, and enterprise resource planning platforms.
- Author and review detailed functional and technical design documents incorporating performance, security, scalability, availability, and operability considerations.
- Establish and continually improve engineering standards, development processes, and best practices to drive quality, consistency, and delivery efficiency.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Analysts, vendors, and DevOps teams.
- Design and optimize SQL databases to support high-volume retail transactions.
- Manage the full lifecycle of commercial off-the-shelf applications, including evaluation, implementation, integration, upgrades, patches, customizations, maintenance, and retirement, while ensuring performance, scalability, and security standards are met.
- Follow secure coding practices and ensure data protection standards, API protection, data encryption, secure communication, and payment card industry compliance.
- Apply DevSecOps principles throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Manage pipeline dependencies, retries, scheduling, and failure handling, and implement robust monitoring and alerting for data operations.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in retail systems, e-commerce platforms, or fast-moving consumer goods technology.
- Certifications in Azure, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect.
- Exposure to Android mobile applications, Android mobile device management, and the SOTI platform.
- Exposure to Oracle PL/SQL.
