Requirements
- Strong commercial experience building frontend applications with React
- Proven backend experience with C# and .NET in production environments
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices and system integration
- Hands-on experience deploying or supporting applications on AWS
- Experience working with SQL and database-driven applications
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
- Confidence using Git and working in collaborative codebases
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on quality, performance and client outcomes
- Comfort engaging directly with clients and explaining technical decisions clearly
- Proven experience working effectively in agile, cross-functional teams
- A mindset of ownership, accountability and continuous improvement
Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain high-quality full stack applications using React and C# (.NET)
- Contribute to solution design and technical decision-making, balancing delivery with long-term maintainability
- Build and integrate services deployed on AWS, with an understanding of cloud-native patterns
- Work closely with clients and internal teams to understand problems, shape solutions and communicate progress clearly
- Play an active role in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives and backlog refinement
- Champion engineering best practices, including code quality, testing, performance and security
- Review code thoughtfully and mentor other engineers through feedback, pairing and knowledge sharing
- Troubleshoot, debug and optimise applications to ensure reliability, scalability and usability
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, tooling and ways of working across teams
- Maintain clear documentation to support ongoing development and smooth handover
