The Role:

Your initial focus will be to enhance and scale the company’s core browser-based platform, evolving its MVP into a robust, enterprise-ready product. Once this foundation is established, you’ll lead the architecture and development of a brand-new platform, taking it from concept to production and shaping its technical direction from the ground up!

Responsibilities:

• Take hands-on ownership of backend and service-layer development within a Microservice architecture on AWS, using Node.js, TypeScript and JavaScript
• Own key architecture and design decisions, and set engineering standards for the platform
• Guide and mentor a small engineering team, lifting code quality and delivery pace
• Support daily platform operations and reliable performance for clients and end users

Requirements:

• Highly skilled with Node, TypeScript & JavaScript
• Strong experience building APIs and working with modern backend architectures (Microservices)
• Experienced with the AWS Product Suite
• Solid grounding in CI/CD pipelines and version control practices
• Any Payments, KYC or AML focused projects are highly desirable
