Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Demonstrated experience delivering structural design projects within a consulting environment
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software including SpaceGass, ETABS, RAPT, and Structural Toolkit
- Australian Citizenship with current (or previous) defence clearance necessary
- Seismic Structures experience
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the structural design and delivery of projects across a range of market sectors
- Prepare and review structural analysis, calculations, design reports, specifications, and engineering documentation
- Ensure designs comply with relevant Australian Standards, the National Construction Code (NCC/BCA), and client requirements
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary project teams to develop practical, efficient, and sustainable design outcomes
- Manage project deliverables, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder relationships to support successful project outcomes
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to a strong culture of learning and innovation
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in structural engineering, with a strong focus on complex building structures
- Experience with SAP2000, RAM, IdeaStatiCa, and Grasshopper will be viewed favourably
- NSQEP highly preferred, but not essential
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
