- Senior/lead-level application development experience
- Proven ability to influence architecture and lead complex initiatives
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in global teams
- Azure: App Services, Functions, Azure SQL, Storage
- Backend/API: .NET Core, C#, REST, event-driven, Apigee
- Frontend: Blazor, Razor, Telerik
- Data: Azure Data Factory, SQL (ETL/ELT)
- DevOps: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions
- Containers: Docker, Kubernetes
- Security: OWASP, ISO27001, IAM, encryption
- Reporting Tools: JIRA, Confluence
Responsibilities
- Lead design and delivery of end-to-end applications (UI, APIs, services, data)
- Own epics and act as Lead Engineer on medium–large initiatives
- Define technical strategy and architecture across multiple domains
- Drive DevSecOps, non-functional requirements, and operability (performance, security, resilience)
- Take hands-on ownership of complex features and services
- Partner closely with Product, Platform, Infrastructure, Security, and global vendors
- Manage COTS applications across their full lifecycle
- Uplift engineering standards, processes, and best practices
Desired Qualifications
- Retail, e-commerce, or FMCG experience
- Azure certifications and cloud cost optimisation experience
