Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience in a trade operations/support, finance or accounting role
- A relevant degree – e.g. Finance, Commerce/Business, Actuarial etc
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates a strong sense of urgency when managing competing priorities.
- Committed to continuous improvement with a proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvement
- Exceptional attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Manage critical off-exchange trading workflows across a range of asset classes including derivatives and cash equities.
- Support the full trade lifecycle from trade capture and reconciliation through to confirmation and settlement.
- Monitor trading and post-trade activity to ensure issues are identified and resolved in a timely manner.
- Ensure trades are booked accurately and positions are cleared correctly and on time.
- Investigate trade and settlement breaks while working closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive resolution.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes that reduce operational risk and increase efficiency.
- Build automation and internal tools to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort.
- Improve the quality and flow of operational data to support a growing business.
- Explore and apply AI-driven solutions where they can deliver meaningful improvements to productivity controls and scalability.
Desired Qualifications
- Korean, Japanese, or Mandarin language skills highly favoured
- Experience or strong interest with Python, SQL and AI
- Genuine interest in financial markets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication, teamwork and relationship building skills
