JOB  SUMMARY

As a Billing Officer Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Deliver exceptional billing and collection services by maintaining efficient workflows for billing health funds, Workcover, DVA, Third Parties, etc., in line with One Healthscope best practices
• Prioritise daily billing and collections to meet KPIs, ensuring accuracy, completion of documentation, and timely reporting
• Monitor debt collection and perform reconciliations, including daily banking, while providing necessary support

Essential Criteria

• Authority to Work in Australia
• Proven experience in billing services, preferably in the Health Industry will be looked upon favourably
• High level of computer literacy is essential for this role
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work to deadlines
• Knowledge on health funds, private billing and Medicare (desirable)
• Experience in WebPas or other patient management/billing software (highly desirable)
