Requirements
- High level of interpersonal & communication skills at all levels of business
- Ability to enforce process is a non-negotiable requirement
- Understanding of labour productivity and the relationship to overall profitability.
- Sound planning, time management and organisational skills.
- Extensive knowledge of automotive collision repair products and application systems.
- Computer & literary competency in regard to email and other electronic communication
- Be self-motivated to achieve the required work tasks efficiently during the working day
- Hold and maintain a current / valid motor vehicle driver license
Responsibilities
- Contribute to ensuring that PPG meets EH&S goals, and standards as set out by PPG KPI’s and policies.
- Build strong relationships with the PPG Distribution Network
- Increase market share and volume through winning competitor business and share of wallet at PPG distributor level including PPG COS PPH.
- Use PPG Salesforce pipeline tool to manage customers.
- Establish a call plan for competitor accounts and keeping the Salesforce pipeline tool up to date with relevant activity
- Assist PPG sales teams & distribution partners to approach and win competitor customers
- Reporting to senior management on business strengths and areas of improvement that may be required
- Evaluate competitor customers for PPG Paint and Allied products.
- Understand competitor pricing models and strategies.
- Develop plans for Paint & Allied products growth with these customers.
- Cultivate a detailed understanding of the PPG businessā products and value proposition, local and international industry trends
- Drafting growth strategies in consultation with senior management
- Collaborating with sales teams to ensure business development strategies are executed.
