Requirements
- Degree plus 4 years relevant experience with medical devices industry
- Demonstrated project management experience with the ability to influence without direct authority
- Demonstrated experience driving transformational change through cross functional collaboration
- Customer focused: Understands and delivers excellent customer service
- Ability to build credible relationships with all key stakeholders, including specialists and peers
- Ability to work in a highly regulated environment and adhere to compliance and OHS
- Valid driverās license and own transport and willingness to travel as required for work
Responsibilities
- Plans, performs and implements process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma).
- Diagrams and evaluates existing processes.
- Organizes, leads and facilitates cross-functional project teams.
- Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.
- Collects data to identify root cause of problems.
- Measures performance against process requirements.
- Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls.
- Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.
- Delivers presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control.
- Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes.
- Communicates team progress to stakeholder groups.
- Performs cost and benefit analyses.
